AS Monaco agree deal with Arsenal for Balogun signing, details revealed (reliability: 5 stars)

As per Fabrizio Romano, AS Monaco have struck an agreement with Arsenal for the signing of Folarin Balogun.

The Gunners will receive a fee of around €40m (£34m) for the striker, including add-ons.

Arsenal are also going to retain a significant sell-on clause on this deal, which owes them a major chunk of the fee Monaco might receive by selling Balogun in the near future.

The USMNT striker is expected to undergo his medicals with the Ligue 1 club at the weekend.

He has agreed a long-term deal with the French side and will aim to get the deal done quickly.

Balogun has a brilliant spell in France last season, scoring 21 goals in Ligue 1 for Rennes.
