'Finally meeting the mum': What Arteta told Timber's family when he met them for first time

Mikel Arteta was all smiles when he met Jurrien Timber and his family ahead of his move to Arsenal.

In a video on the club's website, Timber and his family members were led to Arteta by Sporting Director, Edu Gasper. 

Arteta said to the Dutch defender after a warm embrace: "How are you? Congratulations and welcome. Finally!"

He turned to Timber's mum, saying: "Finally meeting the mum, how are you? Nice to meet you". The manager then shook hands with three others present. 

Timber will wear the jersey no 12 next season.
