Everton striker Neal Maupay infuriated Arsenal players and fans with his annoying antics during his side’s 1-0 win.
After the game, Man United legend Rio Ferdinand praised and congratulated the forward for flustering the Arsenal players – especially Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Ferdinand said: “Maupay has had Arsenal a couple of times. He has though, I’m not joking. He’s ruffled your feathers a few times. He has had you up!. Today Zinchenko, all flustered. Last time against Arsenal against Brighton he had it out with Guendouzi.”
Indeed, Maupey has gotten underneath the skin of Arsenal players multiple times in his career and annoyed fans by triggering Mateo Guendouzi when he was still part of Brighton a few seasons ago.
Mikel Arteta will ensure his side aren’t too affected by this loss and can get back to winning ways soon.
