4 under-radar transfer stories Arsenal fans should know about

Josh Doig (left-back from Hibernian)

Arsenal need someone to deputise for Kieran Tierney and the 19-year-old Doig has been one of only two names linked with us in this position (the other being Ryan Bertrand).

We need either a grizzled veteran happy to sit on the bench (Bertrand) or a young understudy happy to bide his time - and sit on the bench (Doig). This could be a smart move from Arsenal.

Sander Berge (central midfielder from Sheffield)

Even a blind man can see Arsenal need reinforcements in central midfield and Berge, a young mid from a relegated Sheffield side, could fill the hole. The sum Blades want for him is extortionate though - £35m. For that kind of money we should be looking at Houssem Aouar or Eduardo Camavinga. Speaking of whom...

Eduardo Camavinga (central midfielder from Rennes)

The wonderkid is being linked with half of Europe but there's a catch: he wants a guaranteed starting spot at his next club. Powerhouses like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid can't provide that - Arsenal can. He won't come cheap though: Transfermarkt value him at £50m.

Julian Brandt (from Borussia Dortmund)

He's become the new Julian Draxler to us. He's linked every window but the move never actually materializes. He's 25, he's a central midfielder, we need one or two of those. Can this be the time when the interest comes to something?
