- Marseille have popped up on the radar to register their interest in out-of-favour Matteo Guendouzi, according to Telefoot.
- The French side made enquiries about a possible loan for the Frenchman while Arsenal want to ship the midfield off on a permanent basis.
- Guendouzi appears to have burnt bridges with Mikel Arteta in June, following a bust-up with Neal Maupay: Matteo failed to make the squad since.
- The story carried over into the new season, despite the Frenchman bein allowed back into first-team training.
- Guendouzi was also approached by Villarreal, Valencia, Hertha Berlin, Real Betis and Sevilla; he also was offered to Lyon and Atletico in part-exchange deals.
