According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Teamtalk), AS Roma are not keen on exchanging their talented winger Justin Kluivert for Henrikh Mkhitaryan. It was claimed earlier that Arsenal offered the Armenia international plus £13m for the 21-year-old.
Roma, while they are still keen on landing the ex-Man United man, want €40m for the son of the Ajax and Barca icon Patrick Kluivert.

So, with this swap deal unlikely, here are four potential scenarios regarding Henrikh's future.
1. Straight sale
The Gunners and the Giallorossi are said to be negotiating the Armenia's permanent move to Stadio Olimpico. The clubs differ in the valuation of the 31-year-old but they could eventually strike a deal, given that Mkhitaryan is keen to remain at the Italian club.
2. Swap with another Roma player
The Serie A side have many talents in the squad, from talents such as Nicolo Zaniolo, Amadou Diawara and Cengiz Under to established stars such as Patrik Schick (on loan at Leipzig), Jordan Veretout and Alessandro Florenzi. Arsenal could take a closer look at some of them and do a cold swap with no money involved.
3. Another loan
Arsenal could extend Henrikh's contract (his current deal is up next June) and loan him out to Stadio Olimpico one more time. This idea was rumoured earlier in May. However, it hardly makes any sense for the Gunners as any loan fee will probably be smaller than money we could get for a permanent transfer.
4. Micki return
The Armenian was not particularly bad last season and he could certainly benefit from working under Mikel Arteta, who has found keys to the likes of Shkodran Mustafi and Granit Xhaka, revitalising their careers.
