Throwback to Arsenal's dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Wigan in FA Cup's semi-final in 2014 (video)

Many remember Arsenal's heroic comeback against Hull in the final to end the 9-year trophy drought but the path to Wembley was long and hard too.

The Gunners were a whisker away from bowing out in the semi-final to a resilient Wigan side. Per Mertesacker scored on 82 minutes to take the game into extra-time, however, the Gunners didn't do much of note during those 30 minutes.

It went right down to the penalty shoot-out and, mercifully, Lukasz Fabianski was red-hot while Santi Cazorla was ice-cool. Sink your teeth into their monumental performances below.
