Does Barcelona have what it takes
Hello Barcelona fans and welcome to my second-ever blog where I'll try to discuss what it takes for teams to compete at the highest level and if barca have what it takes to compete.
To be honest this is a very broad concept as there are many of points to be fulfilled in order for a team to compete at the highest level but I'll try to discuss what I personally think are the main points.
Before I start guy I'd like to adress the terrible things happening in Nigeria as there many innocent lives taken and that's really painful to hear and I hope it stops as soon as possible #EndSars.
So as you read on the intro I'll try to rate Barcelona out of 10 in which I think are the main points to be discussed.
1. Quality Squad Depth
I think this is one of the most important thing in order to build a good team.
Every players on the pitch need to have a proper backup with the quality and winning mentality to fill the shoes of the respective player.
And every players on the pitch needs to have a hard competition for the starting lineup to perform at their very best.
So interms of squad depth barcelona are doing well but the lack of proper striker and the low number of centre-backs shows that it's a work in progress, with the potential arrivals of Depay and Garcia things look positive.
Rating – 7/10
2. Fighting And Winning Mentality
Out of all this is the most crucial.
Even if a team consists of all the best players in the world, without a winning mentality they are nothing.
A team must fight till the end even if the scoresheet is not going in their way.
And the best example for this point are Liverpool.
Liverpool never lose their fighting and winning mentality even after a heartbreak followed by other heartbreak.
First they lost in the Europa League final and then they lost in the heartbreaking UCL final against Madrid and then they lost the Premier League in a very unexpected way. But they were always self critical. They didn't blame it on anyone. Instead they worked hard got back to win both the Champions League and the Premier League convincingly.
But in terms of Barcelona, they have an impressive recod in La Liga but in the Champions League, they are very poor, it's worse year after year, the worst one coming last season. They really lack winning mentality and never really look like they have recovered from that historic Roma defeat.
But with the new coach and new players we will see how they respond but judging what I've in the last 4-5 seasons it's really worrying.
Rating – 3/10
4. Unity
Another big point to consider is the unity of the team.
The whole team needs to be united both on and off the pitch it order for the players to have a great chemistry on the pitch.
I can't really comment much about this as it is the hidden part of the game.
But back to Barcelona when they played against Getafe at one moment. Getafe defender Nyom confronted Fati but no Barcelona player came to defend the lad and that was very frustrating and I'm not even a Barca fan.
And the Griezmann situation if I'm honest I don't really think he is getting the support from his teammates and even the fans.
Rating – N/A
5. Intensity
Big games in modern football are very intense and require a lot from both players and coaches of each sides.
In these type of games tactics and gameplans are not the main factors Instead their desire, motivation and strong mentality play much bigger roles.
And when we come to Barcelona, in these type of games they are always the nice guys, they are easily dominated mentally when they face intense oppositions. They always put their head down when they concede goals.
Thats why they need a**hole players who are not scared to do the dirty jobs and leaders who screams at their teammates and motivate them when they are down, they need players (the so-called "bad guys") like Casemiro, Ramos, Fernandinho, Hojbjerg, Kimmich, Upamecano etc.
Players need to be the bad guys in those intense matches cause football is evolving rapidly and having technically gifted players in your squad is not enough and i really think this team lack that character.
Rating – 4/10

I really liked the first part of that topic (your FIFA 21 contest entry) and I'm really happy that you've decided to go on with the second one. Don't forget that you could also add some extra pics inside the text. It's particularly great if your text is long and you want to get your readers more entertained.
